Booking terms and conditions

A. Contract

Your booking is confirmed and a contract exists when the Tour Operator, People Travel and Experience, issues a written confirmation after receipt of the applicable deposit amount. Please check your confirmation carefully and report any incorrect or incomplete information to the Tour Operator immediately. Please ensure that names are exactly as stated in the relevant passport.

You must be at least 18 years of age to make a booking. You agree to provide full, complete and accurate information to the Tour Operator, People Travel and Experience. 

The person signing the booking form, warrants that he/she has full authority on behalf of all the persons whose names appear thereon, and confirms that all such persons are fully aware of and accept these conditions.

 

B. Payment
To secure a booking with People Travel and Experience, the client must deposit 30%of the total amount due. The balance of all monies due must be paid to People Travel and Experience, no later than 30 days before departure date. In case of non-payment of the balance by the due date People Travel and Experience, will treat the booking as cancelled by the Client. In the case of bookings made within 30 days of the departure date, full payment must be done when confirming the reservation. Payment can either be made by transferring the total amount of the invoice to one of our accounts or by credit card. All bank fees or credit card overcharges should be covered by The Client.

Please notice that airfare must be fully paid to issue flight tickets.

 

C. Changes & Cancellation by the Client
Any changes to the original booking must be confirmed by the person signing the booking form. Any costs or charges, which we incur or which are incurred by our suppliers as a result of the amendment, will be charged to the Client. Whilst every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate changes and additional requests, their availability cannot be guaranteed.

The Client may cancel the booking at any time provided that the cancellation is communicated to People Travel and Experience, in writing, by email. Cancellation charges will be applied as shown below calculated from the business day written notification is received by People Travel and Experience. In addition to the charges shown below airlines may impose 100% cancellation charges.

 

Cancellation fee as a percentage of the trip price

30 days or more: 30%

29-15 days: 60%

14 days or less: 100%

In case part of a booking is cancelled, the remaining party may have to pay additional charges (e.g. single room supplements or underoccupancy charges).

- Please note, that different cancellation policies will apply for Christmas, New year and Special Dates.

D. Prices, surchargres and taxes

The Tour Operator will not increase the price of your trip after you have paid in full. Trips are priced and advertised inclusive of applicable taxes.

From time-to-time the Tour Operator, People Travel and Experience, may offer reduced pricing on certain products or services. Reduced pricing applies only to new bookings. Bookings where payment of at least a deposit has been received by the Tour Operator, People Travel and Experience, are not entitled to reduced pricing.

E. Tailor made - Price Validity

Upon receipt of your TailorMade booking request the Tour Operator, People Travel and Experience, will provide you with a quote for the chosen Tour. Prices quoted for all TailorMade Tours are valid until the date indicated on the quote, after which time the Tour Operator, People Travel and Experience, reserves the right to provide you with a revised quote. Any modifications to a TailorMade itinerary, including dates or number of people travelling, will be subject to a revised quote.

F. Changes and Cancellation by People Travel and Experience
While People Travel and Experience,  will use its best endeavors to operate all tours as advertised, by entering into this contract the Client accepts that it may prove necessary or advisable to vary or modify a tour itinerary or its contents due to prevailing local conditions. People Travel and Experience reserves the right at any time to cancel or change any of the facilities, services or prices (including flights, accommodation or other arrangements) and to substitute alternative arrangements of comparable monetary value without compensation and accepts no liability for loss of enjoyment as a result of these changes. If a major change is known to us, the Client will be told at the time of the booking. If a major change becomes necessary after booking People Travel and Experience, will inform the Clients as soon as reasonably possible. When a major change is made the Client will have the choice of accepting the change of arrangements, purchasing any other available tour or canceling the tour and obtaining a full refund. Provided that the major change is not because of force majeure. Force majeure is war, threat of war, riots, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activities, natural or nuclear disaster, fire or adverse weather conditions, technical or maintenance problems with transport, changes imposed by cancellation or rescheduling of flights by an airline, the alteration of airline or aircraft type, or other similar events beyond the control of People Travel and Experience. People Travel and Experience, is not liable for any charges in the event of a change -beyond their control- to the departure time or date of a tour, flight or other form of transport.

G. Airfare and flight booking

Tour prices do not include international or domestic airfare unless expressly mentioned in the Tour’s descriptions. The Tour Operator, People Travel and Experience, will quote the best price available for the travel dates requested at the time the quote is prepared. Quotes provide an estimate only and are not a firm price commitment by the Tour Operator, People Travel and Experience, or the applicable air carrier(s).

The Tour Operator, People Travel and Experience, acts only as a sales agent for the applicable air carrier and the air carrier terms and conditions apply to the purchase and use of the air travel ticket. 

The fare can only be guaranteed when the flight booking has been paid for in full and a ticket has been issued. Flight bookings cannot be transferred. The flight times given by People Travel and Experience are for general guidance only and are subject to change. Up-to-date flight times will be shown on the tickets. The Client must check the tickets very carefully immediately upon receipt of the latest timings. We People Argentina Travel and Experiencies will endeavor to inform the Client as soon as possible in the event of any flight alteration. Details of airlines are also subject to change. Such alterations do not constitute a significant change to the holiday arrangements and will therefore not be entitled to cancel without paying the normal charges as a result. People Travel and Experience, can not be held responsible for any delay to your flight whether this delay is caused by adverse weather conditions, the action of air traffic controllers, airport authorities or (local) governments, the rescheduling of flight times by the airline, mechanical breakdown, strike, industrial action or any other reason.

People Travel and Experience will use its best endeavors to ensure that all flight prices are correct at the time that they are quoted. Airlines reserve the right to amend or withdraw fares without prior notice. Once a deposit is paid on an airfare, it guarantees that a booking is being held for you, it does not guarantee the fare. 

 

H. Travel documents and Vaccinations

It is client´s responsibility to obtain information and to have in your possession all the required documentation and identification required for entry, departure and travel to each country or region. This includes a valid passport and all travel documents required by the relevant governmental authorities including all visas, permits and certificates (including but not limited to vaccination or medical certificates) and insurance policies. You must have a passport that is valid 6 months after the last date of travel with the Tour Operator as set out on your itinerary. You accept full responsibility for obtaining all such documents, visas and permits prior to the start of the Tour, and you are solely responsible for the full amount of costs incurred as a result of missing or defective documentation. You agree that you are responsible for the full amount of any loss or expense incurred by the Tour Operator that is a direct result of your failure to secure or be in possession of proper travel documentation. The Tour Operator, People Travel and Experience, does not provide advice on travel documents and makes no representations or warrantees as to the accuracy or completeness of any information provided on visas, vaccinations, climate, legal documents;  and you agree that the Tour Operator, People Travel and Experience is not responsible for any errors or omissions in this information.

 

I. Illness or disability
Anyone suffering from illness or disability or undergoing treatment for any physical or medical condition must declare the true nature of such condition at the time of booking and make arrangements for the provision of any medication or other treatment which may be required during the tour. Failure to make such disclosure will constitute a breach of these booking conditions and result in such persons being excluded from the tour in which case all monies paid will be forfeit.

Travel with People Travel and Experience, may involve visiting remote or developing regions, where medical care may not be easily accessible and medical facilities may not meet the standards of those found in your home country. The condition of medical facilities in the countries you may visit on your Tour varies and the Tour Operator, People Travel and Experience makes no representations and gives no warranties in relation to the availability or standard of medical facilities in those regions.

J. Special requirements

Any special requirements must be disclosed to the Tour Operator, People Travel and Experience, at the time of booking. The Tour Operator, People Travel and Experience will use reasonable efforts to accommodate special requirements or requests but this is not always possible given the nature of the destinations visited. All food allergies and dietary restrictions must be disclosed to the Tour Operator, People Travel and Experience at the time of booking but the Tour Operator cannot guarantee that dietary needs or restrictions can be accommodated. Any special requests or requirements do not form part of these Terms or the contract between you and the Tour Operator and the Tour Operator is not liable for any failure to accommodate or fulfill such requests.

 

K. Travel Insurance
People Travel and Experience does not provide such service and prices published at www.wepeople.com.ar do not include Travel Insurance. However, People Travel and Experience recommends purchasing it through a reputable Insurance Company or contact us if you need help. 

 

L. Complaints
If the Client has a complaint about any of the tour arrangements he/she must bring it to the attention of guide or other representative of People Travel and Experience at the time so that The Operator may use the best endeavors to rectify the situation. It is only if People Travel and Experience, is made aware of any problems that there will be the opportunity to put things right. Failure to complain on the spot will result in the Client’s ability to claim compensation from People Travel and Experience, being extinguished or at least reduced. Should the problem remain unsolved a complaint must be made in writing to People Travel and Experience, within 28 days of the completion of the holiday.

 

M. Our responsibility
People Travel and Experience, accepts responsibility for ensuring that the holiday which the Client books with them is supplied as described in the final version of the travel program the Client will receive upon arrival and the services reach a reasonable standard. People Travel and Experience, acts only in the capacity of an agent upon the legal conditions that, while exercising every possible precaution, it is not responsible for injury, sickness, damage, loss, additional expenses, accidental delay, or other irregularities which may be caused either through willful or negligent acts or omissions made by the companies or individuals providing or engaged in transportation, accommodation or other services related to the accomplishment of the tour, or through natural disasters, social upheavals or other causes.
