Day 1 - El Calafate Airport – El Calafate

We welcome you at El Calafate Airport then we transfer to the hotel for the check in. The rest of the day is at leisure to visit the city on our own.

Day 2 - Perito Moreno Glacier with Safari Náutico Boat Trip 

We dedicate this day to one of the World’s Natural Wonder: the Moreno glacier. This ice field- type glacier flows down from the Patagonian Icefield, a big sheet of ice that with its 22.000 square kilometers is the third largest glacier area in the world, after Antarctica (14 M sq km) and Greenland (1 M sq km). Because unusual favorable local conditions, this glacier is the only one in the world that shows a closure and rupture process. The road leads to the very front of the glacier, which will be only meters away from your eyes. The roar of the chunks of ice falling inside the glacier or from the glacier into the lake, the frequent collapse of the front seracs into the turquoise water, makes out of this day a very special and unique experience.

Then we wil go up to “Bajo de las Sombras” from where, you will board the catamaran boat to navigate the Lago Rico where your will be able to appreciate the amazing ice wall of the Perito Moreno Glacier and its icebergs. Then we go back to our accommodation in El Calafate.

Day 3 - Full Day El Chalten 

The excursion begins at 7.00 hs from El Calafate. We take the mythic Route 40, that goes along the Argentino Lake up to La Leona river. We will pass by the canyon with the same name ,Cañadón La Leona, and after 1.15 h ride we will arrive to the ancient route hotel "La Leona", almost a museum of the Route 40, where you can have coffee and cakes.

Our trip continues along the Lake Viedma, from where we will have magical views of glaciers, hidden lakes and the overpowering presence of the Mount Fitz Roy. We will make some photo stops at the viewpoint of the Viedma Glacier and Lake and after a 3 h ride we will arrive to this andean village called, The Capital of the Trekking. As soon as we arrive at El Chalten we make another stop at the National Park Interpretation Centre. Once at Chalten, we will live our own adventure. Well marked trails that lead to the most beautiful viewpoints of the Mt Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre (Laguna Capri, Mirador Torre and also Laguna de los Tres) Packed lunch included. Technical dificulty: moderate. Walking time: 3 to 6 hours.

Day 4 - El Calafate -  El Calafate Airport

At the indicated time we transfer to El Calafate airport, where our servies end.
